By confirming your Birth pool hire you confirm that you have read, understand and agree to the below conditions of hire (we have kept them as simple as possible):
You Agree:
I agree that hiring your birth pool from The Birth Partnership (TBP), is for the maximum duration of 6 weeks. I agree that I will return the birthing pool and returnable items (to TBP) clean, dry and in full working order by the last day of hire. In the event you need the pool longer, all we ask is that you contact us to let us know and return the pool within 48 hours of use.
I agree that whilst the birth pool is in my charge I am fully responsible for its safe keeping and its storage. I will be liable for any damage to both the birthing pool and accessories. I agree to pay any damages promptly upon request.
I agree to check the contents on receipt and report any problems within 48 hours of receipt.
I agree to follow the in-depth instruction leaflets fully.
It is my responsibility to ensure the safety of all those involved in the use of the birth pool and to make sure that the building in which the birth pool is placed is suitable for use of a birthing pool.
I agree to clean any stains/marks immediately and ensure the kit is fully dry before re-packing.
I agree to draining the emptying pump and sealing in its bag before returning to prevent damage to the pool and kit that I will become liable for.
We Agree:
We agree that ALL birthing pools will leave us checked, clean and in full working order.
We agree that ALL advance bookings will be honoured, and we will not double book a pool.
We agree to check and clean all returned birthing pools within 48 working hours of receipt.
We will call or e-mail you to agree/advise a delivery & dispatch date. We aim for you to receive the pool around 36 weeks.
We do not accept liability for any consequential loss or damage, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which may arise out of or in connection with the hiring and use of one of our birthing pools.
In all other events our liability is limited to return of the hire charge.
We cannot accept liability for late delivery, as we use a 3rd party courier. Delivery is free of charge therefore no refund will be applicable.
Cancellation:
If you cancel a hire before the day of dispatch we will refund the hire in full.
Cancellation is not accepted after dispatch – the birthing pool will come under our standard terms of hire as quoted in our Terms & Conditions.
The hire period is maximum 6 weeks – return must be made within 48 hours of use for hygiene reasons. The costs to us remain the same regardless of a quicker return, so we cannot refund for early return or non-use.
