Delivery & Returns

Information

We will deliver your pool hire around 36 weeks. You will recieve a booking conformation after order is placed.
Usually the following working day. Please note Mondays are extreamly busy so the weekends bookings are put onto the system after the pools that are already booked for dispatch have been shipped. If the booking day is not convienient. Simply reply to the conformation email with a better day for you and we will adjust the dispatch.

Ordering through the web site. Delivery to the UK mainland is as standard for weekday deliveries and includes the return shipping after your hire period.

We can offer Saturday delivery which will incur a surcharge of £20.

Carriers

We ship via a variety of 3rd party couriers including DPD and UPS and as such we have no control over when they will deliver the goods.

All deliveries must be signed for, therefore you will need to ensure someone is available to accept the delivery.

If you are at work during the day we can ship it to your work address - just add it as the delivery address when you enter your details.

If a mobile number is provided and the courier offers the service, text messages will be sent to update you about your parcel.

The Birth Partnership cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries.

The contents of your order and your delivery postcode will determine which delivery services you will be offered.
We do not deliver to Post Office (P.O.) boxes or shipping agent addresses.

Please ensure you keep the receipt enclosed with your order in case of any problems.

Force Majeure

The Birth Partnership birth pool hire shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so, or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and The Birth Partnership shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date.
The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.

Returning Your Hired Products

The returns process is just as simple - our pools are shipped in a heavy duty shipping container that is used for returning your pool.

We will provide you with a returns label & details of your local drop-off points (usually within 1-2 miles of your location).
When you are finished with the pool, you can drop it off at a time convenient to you - no needing to wait in for a collection.

Collection carrier will vary as to location.

The birth pool and any returnable items must be used as specified & returned to us in a clean, dry condition.
A cleaning charge (£25) will be applied if the kit is returned to us in need of basic cleaning eg wet or bloodied.
The use and care of this hire kit is your responsibility.
The Birth Partnership take no responsibility for damage caused by misuse.

All damages & losses are chargeable at full R.R.P.



If You Require A Collection:

Collection is booked from our home page. The courier will bring a lable with them. We can arrange a collection on a day convenient to you. Please note you will need to make yourself available for the whole day from 8am to 8pm and you will need to answer the door to the courier driver quickly. We suggest that another person stays with you as you are likely to be feeding or changing your new baby. A failed collection will result in a second collection charge. This is out of our hands we will be charged for a failed collection and will still have to pay for the second collection.
